Terms of Use

By using SplashSense, you agree to these terms.

Information only

Every calculator on this site gives estimates for general information about residential pools and hot tubs. Results are not professional, medical or safety advice. Always read and follow the label of any product you use; if the label gives a different amount or instruction, the label wins. Retest your water before adding more of anything.

Chemical safety

Pool chemicals can be dangerous. Never mix chemicals, add chemicals to water rather than water to chemicals, and store them sealed, dry and out of reach of children. You are responsible for how you handle and use any product.

Public and commercial pools

Public, commercial and shared pools are governed by local health codes. This site doesn't replace those rules or a licensed operator.

No warranty

We work to keep our formulas accurate, but the site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We aren't liable for damage, injury or losses resulting from use of results from this site.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape, overload or attempt to disrupt the site. You may link to and share any calculator page.

Third-party links and ads

The site displays third-party advertising and links. We aren't responsible for the content or practices of other websites.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
